Marvel Rivals dataminers have been going through the game files again, looking for traces of upcoming characters. Now, we might have a better idea of who's coming next, as voice lines about a new addition to the roster have been recorded, and are in the game.
As found by the X0XLEAK team of dataminers, there are unused voice lines that reference Emma Frost in Marvel Rivals right now. These lines are spoken by Wolverine and Psylocke, and are all in relation to either knocking her out, to seeing her be killed by someone else, suggesting that she will be playable.
So far, dataminers have shared four voice lines - three from Wolverine, and one from Psylocke. If these were added in yesterday's update, then there's a chance that NetEase is gearing up for its next character, since we know that we're getting two each season.
We still have another half of Season 1 to go, which should take another month and a half. After that, we'll get another new addition to the roster, and while nothing has been confirmed just yet, it might be Emma.
Emma was included in a leak of many other characters in late December....
