As It Turns Out, No One Bought the $386,000 Dying Light Collector's Editon

Every now and again, a Collector's Edition so unique arrives that gamers flock in droves to purchase it. Such was the case with Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, when its Collector's Edition immediately sold out before entering the second-hand market. The same can be said of Sony's PS5 Pro Anniversary Edition, which had bundles being scalped for over $10,000, as well as people threatening to steal the console.

On the other hand, there are Collector's Editions that nobody wants to buy. According to the GameStop subreddit, that list includes the Rage 2 Collector's Edition, Marvel's Avengers CE and the one for Gotham Knights.

Then, there are the Collector's Editions, which seemingly no one can even afford to buy in the first place. That's exactly the situation that the Dying Light "My Apocalypse" edition found itself in.

As it turns out, no one actually coughed up the money for all of that. It also may or may not have even existed in the first place.
