By this point, we all know that Bloodborne is in dire need of a 60fps patch. Whether the recent DMCA takedowns eventually lead to one remains to be seen. That said, there are other games beyond Bloodborne that could also use a boost in framerate.
There's no evidence that anything is happening with Bloodborne, and as we approach its tenth anniversary, maybe it's time to throw in the towel.
To their credit, Ubisoft managed to patch Assassin's Creed Syndicate to include 60fps, and also did the same for Far Cry New Dawn, giving fans hope that other titles could also similarly see some modernization. But with over 11,000 games on the PS4, according to MobyGames, it's but a drop in the bucket. Taking to Reddit, PlayStation fans discussed the games not named Bloodborne in most need of some upgrades.
Fans immediately cited Red Dead Redemption 2 as a game in need of a 60fps patch, and we couldn't agree more. Rockstar's 2018 title is among the best among all video games, but it is hard to go back to on console, its slow start notwithstanding.
