Baldur's Gate 3 has a bunch of playable races, with many other subraces to be found within them. However, now that the game has been with us for well over a year, you might want to mix up your next playthrough even more, which is where this new mod comes in.
Bauldarian Warforged is a mod from Nexus user Mirrismods, and introduces the Warforged into Baldur's Gate 3. It makes them a playable race with their own description and stat bonuses - and of course, a very, very unique appearance from everyone else you'll run into.
"Bauldarian Warforged are made from [...] a mix of metal, flesh, and wood, but they can feel pain and emotion," reads the mod's description. "Built as weapons, they must now find a purpose beyond the war. A warforged can be a steadfast ally, a cold-hearted killing machine, or a visionary in search of purpose and meaning."
