The Talos Principle: Reawakened Release Date Revealed for April | TechRaptor

Devolver Digital and Croteam have announced the release date for The Talos Principle: Reawakened, the remastered version of the two studios' philosophical 2014 puzzler.

As noted by GematsuThe Talos Principle: Reawakened officially launches across PC and current-gen consoles (sorry, Switch owners) on April 10th. What's more, you can check a demo of the game out right now as part of the always-excellent Steam Next Fest.

Announced back in DecemberThe Talos Principle: Reawakened is a remastered version of the 2014 original, although when it was first announced, Devolver and Croteam promised it would be "more than a remaster", serving instead as the "definitive edition" of the game.

Major changes compared to the original The Talos Principle include a full visual overhaul courtesy of a switch to Unreal Engine 5. You can expect new lighting, new visual effects, and new design elements as well.

Devolver and Croteam are also promising "modernized quality-of-life updates that maintain the vision of the original classic", although the two studios don't go into detail regarding what those changes are.
