NetEase Games is releasing new heroes for Marvel Rivals at an accelerated pace compared to similar live-service titles, having already released the entirety of The Fantastic Four since 2025 began nearly two months ago. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman were released on January 10 while Human Torch and The Thing were released on February 21. NetEase has stated it plans to release two characters per season.

Now, players are beginning to speculate on which character will be released next. With thousands of Marvel characters available to adapt, predicting who NetEase is going to release next is a near-impossible task. That is, without the help of data miners. The near-constant discovery of unfinished content by data miners has become a trend in live-service titles, and Marvel Rivals is no exception.

A December data mine uncovered voice lines from Wolverine and Psylocke about their fellow X-Men character Emma Frost. Now, XOXLEAK, a regular repository for Rivals leaks, has revealed data-mined voice lines relating to the little-known Asgardian character Angela (Aldrif Odinsdottir). Angela was originally designed by Todd McFarlane and Neil Gaiman.
