Forza Horizon 5 Launching April 25 On PS5

After previously being given a vague "this spring" release window, Playground Games' Forza Horizon 5 is officially launching on PlayStation 5 beginning as early as April 25. That is provided you purchase the game's $100 "Premium Edition," otherwise you'll have to wait until April 29.

The announcement, which was shared by the official Forza Horizon 5 Twitter account, along with a video on PlayStation's YouTube, shared the release date, plus confirmation that Trophies will play a major role in the game.

In launching on PlayStation, Forza becomes the latest Xbox "exclusive" to make its way past the Microsoft-owned console. Previously, the dam broke when, in 2024, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Grounded and Pentiment debuted on PlayStation and Switch. To this point, multiple other exclusives have been rumored to jump ship, including the Master Chief Collection, however, Forza stands as the latest.

With its recent delay, Microsoft is no doubt making some big plans for Fable.

Beyond providing a late April release, Playground also revealed the 12 Evolving Worlds that will make up the Horizon Realms free content update. Of the 12 worlds, 11 are the "best previously limited-time locations," while No. 12 will be a new locale...
