Jill Valentine will become a part of Resident Evil Resistance later this month.
A brief release trailer has been dropped for Resident Evil 3. The trailer gives one last teaser for the game, which released today. At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that Jill Valentine will be coming to Resident Evil Resistance as a playable survivor on April 17th. No other details have been given about Jill, or what we can expect from the future of the multiplayer mode. Capcom has stated to stay tuned for more information.
Resident Evil Resistance is an asymmetrical multiplayer mode that pits four Survivors against a Mastermind. The Survivors have to make it out alive while the Mastermind must take them all out. Survivors must use weapons and their abilities in order to outwit the Mastermind and escape. There are currently six Survivors, each with their own unique abilities. Survivors must coordinate these abilities with each other in order to beat the Mastermind. They are given a number of objectives that they must complete if they want to escape.
Masterminds do not interact with the Survivors directly, instead working from the shadows. They can observe the Survivors with security cameras that are placed around the map, and unleash monsters and traps onto the Survivors in order to take them out. There are currently four Masterminds: Daniel Fabron, Annette Birkin, Alex Wesker, and Ozwell E. Spencer. Each Mastermind has their own tools to utilize, including bioweapons such as the Tyrant. They are able to take control of the creatures and bioweapons that they unleash.
Resident Evil 3 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game comes packaged with Resident Evil Resistance. Resident Evil 3 currently holds a 81 Top Critic Average on OpenCritic, and has received a Strong Rating.
