Civilization 7's First In-Game Event Postponed For Quality Of Life Improvements

Sid Meier's Civilization 7 opened to mostly negative reviews as players felt it was incomplete and the UI was unintuitive. While that has risen up to 'Mixed' since then, many fans think it's a step down from Civ 6 in many ways. However, the community knows that a new Civilization game is always worth playing after it gets a few good updates – the same happened with the previous entry.

Civilization 7 lacks some basic customization options that we've come to expect from previous games.

While there are a lot more issues than the undercooked UI, it seems Firaxis is already working towards improving Civ 7's issues, ranging from the new age system and the aggressive AI. However, in order to do so, it seems the devs will be putting new content on the back burner. The Natural Wonder Battle event, which was supposed to launch on March 4, has been postponed.
