With 29 large monsters at launch, Monster Hunter Wilds has fewer of the big beasts to hunt than both World and Rise did initially when they released.

I probably don't need to tell you this since it's literally half of the series' name, but one of the main draws of Monster Hunter is its, you guessed it, monsters. The series has a bunch of iconic creatures to battle and turn into gear, with each new entry adding in a bunch of new beasts while bringing back some of the classics.

The game keeps going after you've finished it, but some players might not stick around for it.

Ever since Monster Hunter Wilds was first announced and looked to take the series in a bold new direction with more detail and a bigger world, fans have wondered just how many creatures would be available to hunt. Now the game has finally released to a humongous audience, we know for sure, and the numbers are interesting to say the least.
