Pokemon TCG Pocket Players Can’t Decide Whether Triumphant Light’s Snorlax Or Giratina Is Worse

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Triumphant Light expansion was revealed on Thursday and launched yesterday. The Arceus-focused set is bound to shake up the meta with a bunch of new powerful cards and a range of Pokemon that have been blessed with the "Link" ability.

Another version of one of the current meta's most disruptive cards.

But while much of the new set's cards are likely to see some level of play, there are two that fall well below the desired levels, Snorlax and Giratina, and fans can't decide which of the two is worse.

Since the set leaked on Wednesday, multiple threads have been started on the Pokemon TCG Pocket subreddit lamenting just how bad the new Giratina card is.

It has 120 HP and deals 120 damage from its single attack. "That's not awful," I hear you cry. The problem is that its Crisis Dive attack requires one Grass-type energy and one Psychic-type to use, a very awkward combination. That's not all, though; after using the attack, players will need to discard TWO cards from the Pokemon, meaning they're at the mercy of the Energy gods again.
