Steam Is Recommending Marvel Ultimate Alliance Despite Being Delisted

Over the weekend, something rather incredible happened. No, it wasn't John Cena finally turning heel, though that was also pretty cool. But rather, a slew of previously delisted Activision titles, including the extremely rare Deadpool game, as well as both Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles had brand-new Steam keys available for sale.

Naturally, the games quickly sold out, with many fans quickly pouncing on the opportunity to get these previously delisted titles. At the same time, a user on Reddit shared that the original MUA became a recommendation for them on Steam.

Of course, nothing happened when they clicked on the game, seeing as it's unavailable. But it's another interesting development for Activision's titles to see the light of day once again.

The Internet Archive is doing unspoken, vital work at ensuring these classic games are available on PC even after being delisted.

Back in November, the first two Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles, plus Deadpool, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and the trilogy of Transformers titles all received backend updates on Steam. To this point, nothing has come out of those developments, but the addition of "added store_screenshot" did pique the interest of eagle-eyed fans.
