Marvel Rivals Players Think There Are Too Many Duelists

Marvel Rivals fans have a lot to celebrate recently. The addition of Human Torch and The Thing was popular and it didn't unbalance the meta like everyone was worried about. NetEase also revealed in an earnings call that it plans on supporting Marvel Rivals for at least ten more years.

For a game with so much going for it, it's a bit bizarre that it has this oversight.

However, there will always be some complaints in a live-service game. Whether it's repetitive maps, mediocre events, or server issues, everything can't be perfect all the time. To that end, while players are happy with the character rollout by the devs, they do feel that there are too many duelists in the game right now.

If you take a look at the current Marvel Rivals roster, you'll notice that out of the 37 characters that are currently available, 20 are Duelists, with nine Vanguard and eight Strategists. While Duelists are always more fun to play, fans do think that the imbalance between the classes is too wide, considering that it has more heroes than the other two classes combined.
