Remnant: From The Ashes comes from Gunfire Games, the same studio that has recently worked to revive the Darksiders series, which many of its employees once worked on. Remnant released in August of last year at the start of another busy fall for the games industry and managed to hold its own despite being a relative underdog next to massive games that came out weeks later like Borderlands 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Remnant earned "Strong" scores on OpenCritic, giving it a 78 average from 87 critics with the majority of reviewers (76%) recommending the game for play. Those hwo wish to purchase the bundled version of the game can do so on Steam for $44.99 beginning on April 28. Consoles will also offer the same bundle when the DLC hits those platforms later this year.
