Monster Hunter Wilds is a more approachable, if slightly more mindless Monster Hunter.
Just one day after releasing on Feb. 28, on March 1, a gamer managed to upload a mod for Monster Hunter Wilds, allowing players to edit their character as many times as they'd like.
Aptly titled, "Unlimited Character And Palico Editor," the mod, which was created and uploaded to Nexus Mods by Ridog8, has already had over 13,000 downloads and counting. According to the mod's description, even if your edit vouchers are at "0," you'll still be able to edit to your heart's delight.
Ahead of the game's launch, it was revealed that Wilds, like past Monster Hunter titles, would lock the ability to edit your character behind "edit vouchers" that cost $6.99 each for three character and Palico edits.
That particular bit of news had fans calling for the removal of the microtransaction. "The only reason they charge money for it is because they know people are going to want to edit their character but aren’t going to want to wipe 40 hours of playtime to do so," one user wrote in a popular Reddit thread.
