Following the release of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Triumphant Light, a new meta has started to grip the game. As expected, Arceus ex currently occupies the top spot, alongside Dialga ex, with the latter dominating the top ten with Palkia ex.

With every meta, though, comes an anti-meta, as players look for ways to counter the best cards the game has to offer. These counters often come from the most unlikely sources, with Bidoof recently proving a great foil for Druddigon and Hitmonlee the same for Gyarados.
Things are no different this time around, with one of Triumphant Light's best anti-meta cards coming from a typically average Pokemon — Sudowoodo.
If Arceus ex is the new meta, Sudowoodo is definitely one of the best quick counters for it.
