The upcoming Spider-Man-themed Magic: The Gathering set has been officially revealed, with a first look at some of the iconic Marvel characters coming to the popular card game. Last year, Wizards of the Coast announced that they were collaborating with Marvel Comics on multiple Magic: The Gathering sets that use Marvel characters. The sets will feature numerous classic heroes and villains, including Captain America, Black Panther, Storm, and Wolverine.
After the release of a Secret Lair preview set, Magic: The Gathering is giving fans a first look at some of the cards appearing in the first of these Marvel sets, which are focused on the world of Spider-Man.
As part of the New York Toy Fair, Wizards of the Coast revealed a first look at the product packaging for the upcoming Marvel Spider-Man set. Like most other sets, the new set has two types of booster packs - a standard Play Booster and a Collector's Booster featuring variant rare cards. The set will also include several "Welcome Decks" designed to appeal to beginning players.
