The next character to come to Jump Force will represent My Hero Academia.
The next character coming to Jump Force will be Shoto Todoroki from the My Hero Academia series. A full trailer was released for the character, giving us a peak at how he will play. You can see the trailer here. Todoroki will be released in sometime this Spring, and will be the first of five new characters. While we do not know who the other characters in Jump Force's second season pass are, there was a small tease at the end of Todoroki's announcement trailer. There were four spaces in the trailer for future DLC characters that were empty, though they did have the logos for the anime that they will come from. The four anime are Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
It was also announced that Jump Force will release for the Nintendo Switch later this year. A trailer was released for this version of the game, dubbing it the Deluxe Edition. The Switch version will include all of the DLC characters that have been released for the game so far, as well as the season two fighters. In the trailer it was shown that the Switch version of Jump Force will feature local multiplayer matches on one console. This will allow for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches. No other details have been given for the Deluxe Edition of Jump Force, including when we can expect it to drop.
Jump Force brings a large number of anime characters from well known franchises together to duke it out. The game was meant to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous Weekly Jump Magazine, gathering many of the publications characters into one arena. Franchises include Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, and Naruto, as well as a large number of other fan favorites.
Jump Force is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will release later this year.
