Mario Day is coming up and despite this year being the 40th anniversary of the original release of Super Mario Bros, if Nintendo has anything big planned, it's currently keeping it under wraps. We do know one way it plans to celebrate though - by tasking Mario Kart 8 Deluxe players with completing one million laps over ten days.
Dubbed the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Community Challenge, Nintendo has revealed what it will be expecting of you, and what you will need to do to complete the challenge, on its website. Starting from 3 am EST on March 7, 2025, players will have exactly ten days to cumulatively complete one million laps in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
