Cities: Skylines 2 Console Versions Not Coming Before Summer | TechRaptor

Paradox has announced that the long-awaited Cities: Skylines 2 console ports won't be coming before summer, an announcement the publisher says is aimed at "set[ting] expectations clearly".

In a news update on Steam, Paradox says that while "steady progress" is being made on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Cities: Skylines 2 (no PS4 or Xbox One port here, sadly), there are "more things [the studio needs] to address" before it reaches the "level of quality" expected by players.

The publisher goes on to say that in order to "avoid any premature estimates", more information will only be provided when Paradox is "closer to a launch-ready state". It sounds like the studio is still quite a ways off that goal.

In case you need a reminder, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Cities: Skylines 2 were originally intended to launch alongside the PC version of the game, but were pushed back to spring 2024 shortly before the PC version's release.
