Freedom Wars Remastered recently received a new update that introduces several gameplay tweaks and a host of bug fixes, among other things. The latest Freedom Wars Remastered patch from developer Dimps further improves the action RPG title that came out in January 2025.
After over a decade as a PS Vita exclusive title, 2014's Freedom Wars finally became available on multiple different platforms after its remastered version landed on PC, PS5, PS4, and Switch. The re-release not only brought upgraded resolution and framerate but also introduced extra features in Freedom Wars Remastered, such as a new difficulty level and a revamped weapon crafting system. Upon release, it was bombarded with poor reviews on Steam due to a plethora of technical issues in the PC port, ranging from slowdowns to frequent crashes. However, the devs at Dimps have been putting in the effort to address some of the reported issues, with four comprehensive patches shipped so far across all platforms.
