While Respawn Entertainment hasn't announced Titanfall 3 to be in development, it seems whatever chance of it being announced just got a little lower, as the studio has just canceled an unannounced multiplayer first-person shooter.
The studio didn't name it specifically as a new entry in the Titanfall franchise. Still, fans hoping this mystery project is connected to the next Titanfall game, that possibility has been snatched away, too.
Respawn Developer Confirms Canceled Project After A Year In Development
This latest bit of information comes from Respawn Executive Assistant/Production Coordinator Emilee Evans, who posted a status update on LinkedIn, that the project she has been working on for the past year has been canned.
Evans wrote, "The unannounced incubation project I was a part of for the past year was canceled this week, so I am joining the group of extremely talented and kind people in the games industry searching for a new role. If you hear of any opportunities or just want to catch up, please send me a message or comment below. I’d love to reconnect!"
