Blizzard has confirmed that Belial, the Lord of Lies, will be making his way back as Diablo 4’s hardest challenge yet. It will be the first time a Great Evil is introduced as a seasonal update, presenting the most punishing boss fights you have faced so far.
Belial’s reintroduction comes on the heels of an extended Season 7 period to April 29. Devs had also teased the return of an old friend, and it’s clear they were referring to Belial.
Some of the previously revealed Evils in Diablo 4 include Duriel, Andariel, and Mephisto. With Belial's introduction, we're now missing only Azmodan, Baal, and, of course, Diablo himself.

Belial will be the new “Pinnacle Lair Boss,” meaning he will be the toughest encounter available in Diablo 4’s boss ladder. So, if you thought Durial and Andariel were punishing, you should prepare to battle with Belial, whose mechanics are designed to push you to the limits.
