For as long as Monster Hunter has been around, players have been faced with a very difficult choice at the start of each new game - what weapon should you wield on your many hunts? While you can swap your loadout pretty easily, it's a safe bet that a lot of fans are going to mostly stick with and master one out of the fourteen arms.

That decision has only grown harder as Monster Hunter has evolved and added more weapons. While Wilds sadly doesn't give us a new type to get used to, that doesn't make the decision any easier, especially for the newcomers that Capcom is clearly trying to entice with the more approachable design.
