Over the weekend, something pretty significant happened in Sonic the Hedgehog's history. Sonic Unleashed, the extremely divisive 2008 title that featured, among other things, Sonic becoming a Werehog, was finally made playable on PC via the Unleashed Recompiled release.
It's an unofficial PC port, as the game was never actually released on PC, despite appearing on every console, as well as mobile phones, for whatever reason.
Beyond finally making the game playable on PC, it adds some much-needed quality-of-life features, including unlocked framerates, ultrawide support and, well, the ability to mod. Now, one fan is attempting to take the concept of Unleashed and cross it over with Dragon Ball Z.
The expanded Sonic Generatons remaster sets up a bright future for both hedgehogs.
Taking to Twitter, Sonic fan and modder, SockTiger, shared a concept of daytime Sonic being replaced by the Kid Goku of Dragon Ball GT. That particular social media post immediately hit it off, with many offering suggestions for how to take things to the next level.
