Earlier this week, it was claimed that another Minecraft spinoff has been in development for two years, codenamed Project Spicewood. This was put forward by popular Marvel Rivals leakers XOXLeak, who also shared a screenshot and some keyart, claiming that it is a sequel to Minecraft Dungeons that will launch in 2026.
Now, the leakers are back, claiming to have more screenshots of the apparent sequel. If legitimate, it gives us a look at one of the areas in the game and the lobby screen, and it looks like fans are pleased with what they've seen so far.
This second part of the Spicewood leak refers to the area in the first screenshot as Icelagoon, whereas the second screenshot is the in-game lobby screen.
It's hard to gauge much about the game - if it is in fact real - from these screenshots. However, fans definitely seem to be very excited by the prospect of another spin-off like Minecraft Dungeons, as it was very well received. It's certainly been long enough for something to be happening with a potential sequel, so we'll just have to wait and see if anything is announced, and these leaks turn out to be...
