During a dedicated panel at SXSW, Hideo Kojima confirmed that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is going to release on June 26, as well a collector's edition featuring a massive "Megellan Man" statue.
Although PlayStation and Kojima Productions have been surprisingly quiet about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach over the past few months, Porters at least knew that it wouldn't be too long until we found out more. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Kojima and several other key Death Stranding members would host a panel focus on the long-awaited sequel.
Sony's two big games this year were absent, but that may be more tactical than it appears.
