The release date isn't the only new bit of info we've gotten today, as there's also a new 10-minute trailer that was shared, as well as just what the expensive Collector's Edition will contain.

While details on the story are scarce, Kojima snuck in something special for long-time fans. I don't want to spoil it, but those who watch the trailer will see a character that looks very familiar to one of Kojima's past works.
Just a few days ago, a rumor surfaced that said Death Stranding 2 will have a Collector's Edition (same as its predecessor), and this was revealed at the event too. Now we know just what'll be in it.
No price has been revealed for the Collector's Edition, but expect it to hover around the $200-$250 range.
