Return Of Original Fan-Favorite Call Of Duty: Warzone Release Date Confirmed

Activision released a new trailer today officially announcing the return of Verdansk to Call of Duty: Warzone later this month on April 3rd, 2025.

The beloved map returns as a part of Activision's plan to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Call of Duty: Warzone.

Verdansk was the first map released for the mega-franchise's first Battle Royale title, and thus became iconic in its own right as it was, at the time, one of Call of Duty's biggest maps, one where dedicated fans spent hundreds of hours on until its eventual replacement with 2021's Caldera map which had a notably different World War II theme.

Every subsequent year, another map has replaced the previous, with Caldera's replacement being 2022's Al Mazra map, and Urzkistan replacing it in 2023.

Verdansk saw a smaller return to the spotlight in 2024 as it was the main map featured in 2024's Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile game for iOS and Android.

So Far, It Is Not Clear If There Will Be Any Changes To The Fan-Favorite Map

With the map's announcement billed as a teaser, Activision has yet to officially reveal what, if any, changes will be coming...
