Wonder, Odyssey, And Other Games Starring Mario Are On Sale All Week To Celebrate Mario Day

Mario Day came and went this year with nothing new to report from Nintendo. Somewhat surprising since this is Mario's 40th anniversary year, but all of the big Mario reveals are presumably being saved for next month's Switch 2 Direct. It's not all bad news, though. To make up for a lack of Mario news, Nintendo and select other third party retailers are selling some of the plumber's best games for less.

That's right, even though it is no longer Mario Day, Mario Day sales on Switch games will continue all week long. Well, the one on the Nintendo eShop will, at least. Nintendo has slashed the prices of certain games in which Mario appears, and if you own a Switch, or have ever bought a first-party Switch game for someone as a gift, you'll know that even eight years in, they are very rarely discounted.

Designs from Uniqlo's discontinued Mario collections are coming back next month.
