Massive Control Patch Brings Hideo Kojima Mission That Fans Have Been Clamoring For To Multiple Platforms

Today, Remedy Entertainment released a new update for Control: Ultimate Edition's PC version.

Among all the great-sounding fixes, patches, and enhancements, the highlight of this free content update for most players is sure to be the previously PS4 digital deluxe edition-gated mission: Dr. Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience, for all platforms that can run Control: Ultimate Edition.

The free update is available on PC now, though the update will eventually make its way to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles at a future date.

Once players download and install the update on their respective platform, they can start the previously platform-locked quest by picking up the Dr Tokui Tapes collectible in the Extrasensory Lab of the Research Sector.

The quest features voiceover work by Hideo Kojima himself. Players need to progress through the game until they reach the mission titled 'Old Boy's Club', after which the player is given access to the Central Research Sector, through which the player can make their way past the parapsychology area to find the Extrasensory Lab, where the previously inaccessible mission can be picked up.
