PlayStation confirmed its Astro Bot PS5 bundles are real and despite the announcement claiming they'd be hitting stores next week, the listings are now live at PlayStation Direct. Those listings have confirmed that it will cost anyone in the market for a PS5 less to buy a console bundled with Astro Bot than it is to buy the console with nothing at all.
Astro Bot has been bundled with the regular model of the slimmer PS5 as well as the digital edition, each of them also coming with a DualSense controller - a regular one, not the limited edition Astro Bot controller. The regular Astro Bot bundle has been priced at $449.99, while the Astro Bot PS5 bundle without a disc drive can be picked up for $399.99.
That's some big praise coming from the former president of Nintendo of America.
At this stage in the PS5's life cycle, anyone interested in picking up the bundle will probably think those prices are pretty fair. However, they'll only realize just how good a deal they're getting if they check how much it costs to buy a PS5 without a copy of Astro Bot bundled with it before...
