After a little more than two years of silence since the initial reveal of Silent Hill f, Konami opened the floodgates during its Silent Hill Transmission presentation on Thursday. In it, Silent Hill f, the first new Silent Hill game since 2012s Downpour, was re-revealed, complete with a new trailer, as well as some plot details.
The near-four-minute trailer wasn't light on details, and for those wondering, yes, Silent Hill f, will be an M-rated game. It'll also mark just the second time that a Silent Hill game has had a solely female protagonist.
Silent Hill 2 and Crow Country look to the past in very different ways.
To start, the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC, and it'll also be the first Silent Hill game exclusively set in Japan. In f, Silent Hill isn't a locale, but rather a construct of horror for the 1960s-era piece.
