PC Version of GTA V Gets Update With Exciting New Tool From Rockstar Games and FiveM Collaboration

The Grand Theft Auto franchise is one of the most successful video game franchises the world has ever seen. To this day, GTA V still brings in, on average, around 100,000 daily users on the PC version despite the game being released over a decade ago.

A major factor in Grand Theft Auto Five's continued success has been the modding community's emergence, specifically one company that has provided an outlet to hundreds of thousands of players looking to get more out of the open-world juggernaut title. Cfx.re, creators of the platform FiveM, were so successful in reigniting GTA V that they've not only been contracted by Rockstar recently, but are now teaming up with the creators to release the first official Grand Theft Auto modding tool.

In a post to their modding platform FiveM, Cfx.re announced the first ever modding tool for GTA V with a "coming soon" release date, promising new compatibility with the multitude of file types used by the modding community to level up what players can get out of the title.
