Robert Kirkman Confirms Skybound's Triple-A Invincible Game Is Still Happening Following Season Finale

It's been almost a year of radio silence from Skybound after it revealed initial details about its ambitious triple-A Invincible game and crowdfunded more than half a million dollars for it. Invincible creator Robert Kirkman has provided an update, confirming development is still underway and saying it's the most excited he has ever been about the series he created.

Kirkman spoke to Dexerto ahead of this week's season three finale and was asked for an update on the promised Invincible video game. Despite being Invincible's creator, Kirkman was hesitant to say anything, noting that he wasn't even sure if he was allowed to say how much of the game he has seen.

Dupli-Kate can be unlocked by completing quests, probably so that matches are filled with her this weekend.

That there's even something for Kirkman to see is a promising development. However, despite the lack of details, what Kirkman said next has further built on the hype Skybound created via its reveal last year. "I’m gonna play it safe and just say, from what I have seen, I am more excited than I’ve been about anything involving Invincible," Kirkman said.
