While Santa Monica Studio has put the kibosh on a God of War Greek remaster collection announcement on the franchise's 20th Anniversary on March 20, that doesn't mean the studio has nothing planned regarding the franchise.
As part of the God of War series' 20th Anniversary, Santa Monica Studio will bring the Dark Odyssey Collecton to God of War Ragnarok for free, and it's a good one.

While we might not be getting a remake or remaster of the God of War Greek adventure, Santa Monica Studio is releasing a throwback skin for Kratos as part of the game's 20th Anniversary update for PlayStation consoles and PC.
The new cosmetic items will bring the skin that initially appeared in God of War 2 as a reward for beating the game on God Mode difficulty.

Players will be able to access the collection from any Lost items chest in the base game or automatically while in Valhalla.
Freya and Atreus will also be getting new items as well.
