Silent Hill f's ESRB Rating Suggests There Are No Guns, But It's Still Bloody Gory

Silent Hill f's ESRB rating has just gone live and, beyond spoiling some of the ways that its characters are going to die, it also confirms that guns aren't going to be a part of combat.

After spending the last few years wondering what the heck was going on with the next big Silent Hill game, the strangely-titled Silent Hill f, our questions were finally answered earlier this week. As part of a Silent Hill Transmission, Konami shared a new trailer for the game that showed off much more than ever before.

Whatever you do, do not look up the Byford Dolphin incident.

In fact, what we saw of Silent Hill f indicated that the game is getting along quite nicely in its development and doesn't seem far off at all from releasing. No date was given in the trailer beyond a "Wishlist Now", but it does seem to be in a good state. To add more fuel to that fire, a rather spoiler-filled ESRB rating for Silent Hill f just went live.
