Knights Of The Old Republic Remake Is Still Happening, Saber CCO Reconfirms

It has been quite some time since the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was originally announced. If you haven't been keeping track, it's been more than three years since the initial teaser was unveiled at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase.

Still, if you've been holding out hope that the remake will one day see the light of day, then we have some news. That's because Saber CCO Tim Willits took to social media to reiterate that "everything that we have talked about is still in development."

Separately, as spotted by Video Games Chronicle, CEO Matthew Karch told Game File that the game is still in development, but that he could not share more.

When the game was initially announced, it was revealed that Aspyr would be handling development. However, by 2022, Saber was revealed to be assisting with the game. Eventually, Saber took over full development of the game, and when the studio split from Embracer, it took the project with it.
