While Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is still firmly the current Call of Duty game being supported, more and more details about future COD games are beginning to spread like wildfire. For instance, if the return to Verdansk fails to attract an audience, then there will reportedly be no Warzone 3 in the 2026 iteration of the franchise.

For now, all attention is on Call of Duty 2025, the yet-to-be-revealed next mainline game. More specifically, its Zombies mode. According to reliable insider Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, when the 2025 game does launch, it's expected to be supported by six full-scale Zombies maps. That's not all, though.
In his report, Henderson notes that the plan for Zombies is to develop each map from the ground up in order to allow them to be played in various modes beyond the traditional round-based environment.
