Firaxis has been hard at work looking to optimize Civilization 7's UI, and their newest update, Patch 1.1.1, features plenty of UI polish.
Several updates are here, much to the joy of the game's disgruntled fanbase with the game's current state.
Notably, Civilization 7 has improved the readability of health bars, including making Settlement health bars stand out from the crowd more effectively. It's a step in the right direction, as there was so much in-game clutter that it became difficult to interpret key information. You'll also be better informed when your districts are under attack instead of it being a surprise.
Honestly, my favorite update concerns trade routes: You can now see available trade routes through the Lens panel.
Newest Civ 7 Patch Also Contains Hero Balancing
It's not all about updating the UI; Firaxis has introduced several balance updates for the game's civs and leaders, including a 5% nerf to Maya's Uwaybil K'uh Quarter Production.
Honestly, it's a lot of nerfs for the game's leaders and civs, which begs the question: why not buff the weaker options? One fan isn't happy about this:
"Ok so they blanket nerfed most of the fun aspects of the civs,...
