Tired of waiting for a new trailer, one fan decided to bring as much of GTA 6's map into GTA 5 as they could, allowing the community to explore Vice City early. But, without warning, Rockstar took the project down.
"I spent months building a fan-made GTA 6-inspired map inside GTA 5 - something purely made out of passion, not profit," YouTuber Dark Space said (as reported by IGN). "But shortly after uploading a video showcasing the project, Take-Two Interactive took it down. No warning. No Conversation. Just Gone."

But with the sheer number of high-profile fan projects that have been taken down by Rockstar in the last few months, Dark Space wasn't surprised, and instead took the opportunity to remove the download link to "get out in front of them rather than waiting for their email".
As for why the project was taken down to begin with, Dark Space believes that it's because they based their rendition around the GTA 6 community mapping project, which uses leaked coordinates to "perfectly" map Vice City.
