Studios Founded By Former Blizzard Developers Introduce Wildgate, A PVP Multiplayer Shooter

Dreamhaven, the publisher founded and led by former Blizzard Entertainment employees, most notably Michael Morhaime, has revealed the first title from its internal developer, Moonshot Games.

Wildgate is a PVP multiplayer crew-based shooter. Jason Chayes, Studio Head for Moonshot Gamers, and Dustin Browder, Game Director for Moonshot Games, introduced the title during the Dreamhaven Showcase, presented by The Game Awards.

The two introduced the game's setting as "a dangerous place at the edge of the galaxy, outside the law" and compared it to "a cosmic scale Bermuda Triangle." You know, it's not exactly the safest part of the galaxy, but hey, there are treasures and loot there, so it's worth diving into!

Twenty players across five ships will be able to face against each other to secure the artifact and escape to victory. Or, you can win a match by eliminating everyone else in a match.
