Intergalactic Reportedly Won't Be Out In 2026; Naughty Dog Says It's "Not Only Playabe But Incredible"

When Naughty Dog revealed Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at The Game Awards in December 2024, chances are no one expected the game to be released this year given the reveal trailer didn't even offer a good amount of gameplay.

It turns out that it won't even be ready in 2026, with 2027 as its earliest release window.

Intergalactic Won't Be Out In 2026 Report States, But It Is Playable Now

The news that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet won't be out in 2026 comes from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, who posted on ResetEra stating, "I'm pretty sure I said they were both going to be very early teases. Neither of those games will be out next year."

The other game Schreier was referring to is The Witcher 4, which seems to be releasing in 2027 at the earliest too.

While Naughty Dog hasn't shown anything for Intergalactic since its initial reveal, the studio did confirm that it is not only playable right now but also "incredible."
