Nemesis is now an official part of Resident Evil Resistance.
An update has dropped for Resident Evil Resistance, bringing with it a new Mastermind. The new Mastermind is Nicholai Ginovaef. On the PlayStation Blog, Kellen Haney, Associate Manager of Capcom USA states that Nicholai has been on the list of potential Masterminds since Resistance's early stages of development, and puts his skills of using firearms and tracking against the Survivors. He can use camera-mounted firearms and abilities that allow him to track Survivors around the map. Nicholai's Exclusive cards allow him to have a wider range of firearms to choose from, and how he is able to track Survivors and see their actions behind walls.
One of Nicholai's biggest draws is his bioweapon, Resident Evil 3's Nemesis. Nemesis is able to move at surprisingly fast speeds, and can issue out multiple attacks using its tentacles. It can also let out a blood-curdling roar that will stop Survivors in their tracks for a set period of time. Compared to the G-Birken and Tyrant, Nemesis has more ranged attacks at its disposal. This includes its powerful Rocket Launcher that is an iconic part of the creatures tool set.
The latest Resident Evil Resistance update is just one of the many that are coming to the game this year. Capcom has released a roadmap for the asymmetrical title, which started last month with the release of Jill as Survivor. Another update will come to the game in June, though it is currently unknown what will be added. The roadmap has construction tape covering the slot for the June update, which could be pointing to a new level being released for the game next month. The roadmap also states that more updates will come to Resident Evil Resistance from July onward.
Resident Evil Resistance available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game comes packaged with Resident Evil 3.
