We have received a better look at Ultra Instinct Goku in a launch trailer that has been released for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
A new trailer has been released for Dragon Ball FighterZ, showcasing Ultra Instinct Goku. While the trailer is similar to the release date trailer, Ultra Instinct Goku's launch trailer gives us more shots of the character in action. We see Goku lay a beat down on poor Jiren, showing off the techniques that players will be utilizing when this latest version of Goku is released later this week. Ultra Instinct Goku is the latest character to release through Dragon Ball FighterZ's third FighterZ Pass. Goku follows Kefla, who was released this past February. The third FighterZ Pass is available now for $19.99. Three more characters will follow Goku as a part of the pass, though it is unknown at the moment who the three characters will be. Ultra Instinct Goku will release on May 22nd, though those that own the third FighterZ Pass will be able to access the character two days before his general release.
The third FighterZ Pass was released as a part of Dragon Ball FighterZ third Season. The season added a number of balancing and character adjustments. It also introduced two new mechanics. The first is a Limit Break feature. The feature kicks in when the player is down to their last fighter. That fighter will gain a damage boost, a full bar charge, and other benefits. Season 3 also revamped the assist system. Every character now has three assists instead of one, allowing players more customization option when building a team.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
