Nintendo's latest Direct was much quieter than usual, featuring smaller titles and closer looks at games that have already been announced, but the company did have one ace up its sleeve. Right at the end of the show, Nintendo announced Tomodachi Life: Leaving the Dream, a sequel to the first Tomodachi Life that released on the 3DS all the way back in 2013.
It was a bizarre trailer, featuring plenty of Miis with creepy robotic voices, but there was one scene which had many believing that Nintendo may be adding a massive fan request to Living the Dream. The scene in question shows a Mii encountering a giant lady in a dream, before waking up on a park beach with the same lady walking behind and looking in her direction.
Since we know that the woman on the bench is dreaming of a woman she probably knows, many have taken this as a subtle hint that Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream may include gay romance and marriage this time around. Why else would you be dreaming of a giant lady that you personally know if you don't have any romantic feelings towards them?
