It is Overwatch's fourth anniversary, and there is a celebration going on in the game for the next three weeks.

According to the Overwatch website, the game will be celebrating its fourth anniversary from May 19th through June 9th. During the event, players will be able to earn Legendary loot, play past event modes, and take on challenges that will earn them special loot. Every player will receive a Legendary Loot Box just for logging in during the event. The box will contain at least one Legendary item. This includes new skins, highlight intros, emotes, sprays, and more. While there are new skins to pick up, players will also have the opportunity to receive skins from past events, such as the Lunar New Year and Halloween skins.

During Overwatch's anniversary event, a number of past seasonal brawls will be available to play again. Everyday, a past seasonal brawl will be available for players to jump into, with a new brawl being featured every day. Modes include the Winter Wonderland brawls, Halloween Terror brawls, and the Year of the Rat brawls. You can click here in order to see the schedule showing which brawls will be available each day.

Every week that Overwatch celebrates its fourth anniversary will have unique Challenges. Every week, players can earn an icon by winning three games, a spray by winning six games, and an Epic skin by winning nine games. Week one will focus on Sigma, while week two will center around Widowmaker. The final week of the event will focus upon McCree. The skins earned in these challenges cannot be obtained by other means.

Overwatch is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. A sequel to the shooter is currently in the works, though it is unknown when it will release.
