Xbox Lists Hollow Knight: Silksong As One Of Its Major "Upcoming Games", Still No Release Date

Hollow Knight: Silksong is a staunch member of the copium ranks, a flagbearer who proudly marches alongside the illustrious Bloodborne, Half-Life 3, and GTA 6. We've had nonsense ARGs cooked up by wide-eyed fans still clinging onto hope, and completely made-up release dates as all pretense is thrown out the vaguely bug-shaped window. All while the community spirals into complete dysfunction, showcase after showcase, clawing at scraps. Well, get your doggy bowl ready, we have more scraps.

As pointed out by ResetEra user vixolus, Xbox just casually mentioned Hollow Knight: Silksong in a random blog post, confirming that a) it still exists, and b) Microsoft and Team Cherry are still collaborating. Silksong might launch on Game Pass yet.

"We're focused on helping independent teams enable Xbox Play Anywhere to reach more players - allowing seamless play across console, PC, and cloud," ID@Xbox director Guy Richards wrote. "Looking ahead, our lineup is incredible with upcoming games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Descenders Next, FBC: Firebreak to play across the whole Xbox universe... and of course Hollow Knight: Silksong too!"
