With Assassin's Creed Shadows finally out in the wild, fans have quickly gone from anticipating the latest Ubisoft game to finding new ways to try and make it better. The easiest way to do that is via mods.

The backlash was never going to make a dent.

While many fans are currently waiting for the feature to be added to consoles, one fan took it upon themselves to make it happen on their own. The result? The "Time of Day Control" mod.

Indeed, one gamer has added a mod that lets you change the time of the day whenever you want. It's a pretty simple mod, but one that has a major impact on the gameplay.

"Amazing mod," one user wrote on Nexus Mods. "My only gripe about this game has been resolved! Thank you so much. Endorsed!"

Over on Reddit, the ability to change the time of day stands as one of players' most-requested Quality of Life (QoL) features that they're hoping gets added to the game. Well, consider the wish granted.
