Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream was clearly the biggest and most-popular reveal of the latest Direct, as its announcement tweet has become Nintendo Japan's most-liked of all time - even surpassing the Switch 2's reveal.
This week's Nintendo Direct was a bit of a strange one, as it arrived less than a week before the full unveiling of the Nintendo Switch 2 that's happening in a matter of days. With that in mind, most of us didn't expect to see anything more than a few ports, indie games, and some generally smaller reveals than most Directs have.

That wasn't the case at all, though. Not only did we get some exciting reveals like Marvel Cosmic Invasion and a new entry in the Rhythm Heaven series, but we also saw some long-standing PlayStation series like Patapon and Everybody's Golf making the jump over to Nintendo. The biggest announcement, though, was a sequel that everyone's been asking for - Tomodachi Life.
